1. Data processing

Pool Shot Planner uses the rear camera to photograph the current pool-table scene. Ball detection, pocket marking, and route planning run on the device.

Version 1.0.0:

  • does not create user accounts;
  • does not upload or remotely store camera frames or photos;
  • does not save captured photos to the system Photos library;
  • does not collect names, email addresses, locations, device identifiers, usage histories, or diagnostic data;
  • does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data-collection SDKs; and
  • does not sell or share user data with third parties.

The current frozen image, ball positions, pocket points, and route exist only in app memory for the active session.

2. System permission

The app requests camera access only, to show the rear-camera preview and analyze the current table locally. You may deny access or revoke it at any time in iOS Settings. The core planning feature cannot operate without camera access.

3. Retention and deletion

Retaking a photo resets the current image and planning state. Ending the app session does not persist the current analysis as user data. Because version 1.0.0 has no account, server storage, or cloud user data, there is no server-side account or data-deletion process.

4. Children

The app is not directed specifically to children and does not collect personal data from anyone. It is not submitted to the App Store Kids Category.

5. Safety and functional boundaries

Routes are perspective estimates from a pool-table photo and are intended as training assistance. They are not guarantees of physical accuracy. Users must verify the real ball positions, obstacles, surrounding people, and table conditions, and put the phone down before taking a shot.

6. Changes

If a future version adds cloud services, accounts, analytics, advertising, crash-report upload, or other data processing, this policy, the in-app disclosure, the iOS privacy manifest, and App Store privacy answers will be updated before that version is released.
